Chip Conveyors

Scraper type chip conveyors are most often used for cast iron, bronze or brass machining,witch produces smaller chips that can nest together. Chips fall directly to the bottom of the conveyor,and scapers drag debris to the discharge end of the conveyor.

Hinge belt chip conveyors, the most common format, after an effetive means of managionveyorn heavy chip loads and stringy chips. Chips that fall from the machine tool land on the conveyor belt and are conveyed away from the machine tools precision surfaces.

Magnetic chip conveyors are intended for ferrous material applications with small chips. the chips fall on to the conveyors stainless steel surface and are conveyed by powerful magnets moving underneath. The chips are released from the magnetic at the discharge end, and fall freely into a collection container.

The Dirty Tank Coolant Inlet is the first area to receive chips, turnings, fines and coolant from the machine tool. There, large chips settle to the bottom where they are removed by a drag Conveyor. All coolant must then pass through a series of drum filters. The separated coolant exits through the inside of the Drum filter to a clean coolant exit.

The separated coolant can be now either pumped back to the machine tool, or Pumped through another filtration system for secondary cleaning. (excel fab) Filter compliments the Aluminum Chip Conveyor by providing secondary Coolant filtration. It filters coolant clean up to 25 microns.
